A 33-year-old male will appear in the Blenheim District Court today charged with murder following a homicide in Blenheim.

23-year-old Hiko Lynch died early yesterday morning after being fatally stabbed in a violent brawl at Club Envy on Market Street.

Two of his friends remain in hospital in a stable condition.

Police continue to appeal to anyone who may have video footage taken at the Club Envy or around the Market Street area in the early hours of Sunday 20 June.
