Jetstar has launched a major Black Friday sale offering more than 60,000 discounted fares, with Christchurch routes featuring strongly in the airline’s list of cut price deals.

The low fares carrier has included its new Christchurch to Hamilton service, which begins on Monday, along with discounted flights from Christchurch to Wellington, Melbourne, Cairns, the Gold Coast, Denpasar, Bangkok and Tokyo.

Jetstar said the sale covers a wide range of domestic and international destinations across Australia, the Cook Islands, Thailand, Japan and South Korea, with public access beginning at midnight.

The airline’s Chief Executive Stephanie Tully said the sale reflects growing demand and improved performance across the network.

“We are always focused on keeping fares low in New Zealand, and already this year we have sold more than 800,000 domestic seats for less than $100,” Tully said.

“The Black Friday Sale is one of our biggest sales of the year and with an incredible 60,000 fares from just $48 it is a great time to plan ahead and lock in a holiday for 2026. This year we have significantly expanded our network and our reliability is as strong as it has ever been, meaning that Kiwis have more choice when travelling than ever before.”

The sale includes domestic fares from $48 and international fares from $142, with travel dates running from late January to mid September 2026.

Club Jetstar members have exclusive early access from midday today. Public access starts at midnight and the sale closes at 11.59pm on Tuesday 2 December unless sold out earlier.
