Hornby Councillor Mark Peters has confirmed he will seek re-election in this year’s local body elections.
Peters said it had been a rewarding time delivering key projects for the Hornby community, including the long-awaited opening of the Matatiki Hornby Centre and the inclusion of a hydrotherapy pool after a hard-fought campaign.
He also pointed to the recent completion of the Halswell Junction Road Extension and said there was “a whole lot more in the pipeline” over the coming years.
“I’m keen to carry on listening, advocating, and delivering even more for Hornby,” Peters said.
He added he would welcome the opportunity to catch up with members of the community during the campaign.
