Friends and loved ones have shared heartfelt tributes to 29-year-old Callum Dale, following his death after an apartment fire in Sydenham.
Callum died after a fire at an upstairs apartment on Korimako Lane on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency services attended the scene and he was taken to hospital in a critical condition, where he died a short time later.
Those closest to Callum have spoken of their heartbreak, describing him as a deeply loved and cherished member of his family and wider circle of friends.

A close friend told chrislynchmedia.com, “he meant the world to our family and we know he dearly loved us so much.
“We had our differences but we always hugged it out as a loving family should I loved him always will.”

Callum’s former neighbour said she was still struggling to process the loss.
“But I can tell you that man was a legend and will be highly missed.”
Another friend described him as someone who left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
“Callum was amazing man, he was loved by all and will be missed so so much what a loss.”
The fire was not thought to be suspicious.
