Fire crews are tackling a fire north of Christchurch after flames spread from a hedge to a nearby shed.
Fire and Emergency NZ said multiple crews from Swannanoa, Kaiapoi, Woodend, Pines Beach, and Rangiora responded to the blaze near Ohoka, Waimakariri, just before 9.40am on Friday.
Five appliances and five water tankers remain at the scene as firefighters work to contain the blaze.
It follows another significant fire earlier in the week in Darfield, where three structures were destroyed. A helicopter and a 20-tonne digger were used to help bring that blaze under control.
