Fire and Emergency crews are responding to a bus fire in Aranui.

A Fire and Emergency spokesperson told chrislynchmedia.com three appliances were called to a residential property on Purbeck Place just before 7pm.

The spokesperson said crews remained at the scene as of 7.30pm.

A local resident said they believed a couple normally used the bus, but did not see any St John ambulance at the scene.
