The family of a missing 19-year-old are pleading to the public to help find him.
Luke McNabb left home in New Brighton between 8AM and 9AM on Tuesday and hasn’t been seen since.
His sister Ariel said he has not made any contact and his phone goes straight to voicemail.
“A friend mentioned he was planning to head over Akaroa way for a day trip sometime this week, so there is reason to believe he may be in the area.”

“We are very worried as it’s out of character to not be in touch or return home.”
”Please keep an eye out on the roads and hills for him, concerned with the windy hills through to Akaroa something bad may have happened.”
