Police have blocked off a quiet residential road following a serious incident in Westmorland.

A police spokesman said officers were at the incident at a property on Happy Home Drive.

Chris Lynch Media understands the property is a residential address.

Initially, a police said Work Safe was advised, meaning the incident was the result of a workplace accident.

However, a Work Safe spokesman said they were not investigating and referred all questions back to police.

Happy Home Road has been blocked off by a single police unit, however some residents were being allowed behind the cordon.

A St John spokesman said they were notified of the incident at 2.43pm and responded, but referred all questions back to police.
