Emergency services are at the scene of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Tai Tapu Road and Osborn Road tonight.

A police spokeswoman told chrislynchmedia.com they were alerted to the crash at 7PM.

Chris Lynch Media understands the crash involves a vehicle and a tractor, and that one person was trapped.

One person has sustained serious injuries, the police spokeswoman said.

The road is currently blocked while emergency services attend the scene.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
