A driver has received minor injuries after crashing their car right through a residential home in Wigram.

Fire and Emergency shift manager Blair Walklin told ChrisLynchMedia.com they received the call at 8.40pm on Tuesday.

Fire crews from Spreydon and Wigram attended and helped extricate the driver.

Multiple police officers attended the scene.

A police spokeswoman said a person received minor injuries.

There were no occupants in the house at the time of the crash.

Fire and Emergency crews worked to stabilise the interior of the property.
