Council approves $35m for iconic heritage buildings

The Christchurch City Council has voted in favour of funding over $35 million towards four earthquake-damaged heritage buildings at today’s Finance and Performance Committee meeting.

The money will be directed towards the restoration of the Canterbury Museum, Canterbury Provincial Chambers, Christ Church Cathedral and Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre.
