Attendees can expect to be taken on a visual journey, from the bustling scenes of refugee camps to remote African hospitals, disaster zones, and the joyful moments of childhood.

Manson, a multi-award-winning Kiwi photographer, has traveled to over 40 countries, documenting global humanitarian issues for charities and not-for-profit organisations.

Her presentation will include stories about famine, trauma, and disaster relief, and showcasing the impact of Tearfund’s initiatives.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with Manson during a Q&A session following her presentation.

“A Celebration of Humanity” aims to inspire and encourage the audience with tales of resilience and the deep emotional connections.

Tearfund partners with Compassion International to lift children out of poverty through child sponsorship, providing essential health, nutritional support, education, and emotional care, offering children a brighter future.

Please note, the event carries an R16 recommendation due to the sensitive nature of some content, including references to sexual violence, ensuring attendees are prepared for the emotionally challenging topics that will be discussed.
