A youth has stolen a cash till in the latest of a string of robberies across Christchurch.

Caught on CCTV, Police told chrislynchmedia.com the incident happened at the Challenge Petrol Station on Hills Road in Edgeware around 3.25pm, with offenders fleeing in a vehicle.

A short time later, an attempted burglary was reported on North Avon Road, followed by an unsuccessful vehicle theft in Broomfield, where a car struck a person.

Police are appealing for information.
