Emergency services are at the scene of a crash were a car has rolled in the Christchurch suburb of Avonhead.

The crash happened at 9.40AM.

A police spokeswoman said the crash happened on Maidstone Road where a car has rolled.

One person has sustained injuries, but all people were out of the vehicles.

Fire and Emergency crews from Ilam and Wigram stations attended the scene.

One lane was blocked, and a tow has been arranged for the vehicle.
