The Armed Offenders Squad has surrounded a house in Richmond this morning.

A neighbour next to the house, said armed police have been outside the property on Heywood Terrace since 6.30AM Tuesday.

“I tried to leave for my day but police said to stay inside.”

The neighbour said police were calling for someone to come out of the property.

“One person came out, but the person they want is still inside,” the neighbour said.

A police spokeswoman said this was a pre-planned search warrant.

“We are still at the address.”
