Global aerospace leaders will gather in Christchurch on September 23-24 for the New Zealand Aerospace Summit 2024, an event aimed at showcasing New Zealand’s cutting-edge aerospace technologies.
Held at the Te Pae Convention Centre, the summit will highlight the nation’s leadership in aerospace, providing a platform for global participants to collaborate on shaping the future of the industry.
The summit, featuring more than 500 attendees, 50 expert speakers, and a sold-out exhibition, will focus on how aerospace innovation can drive sustainability and create positive societal impact.
Delegations and speakers from the USA, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Germany will share their expertise.
Among the prominent speakers are Charity Weeden, NASA’s Associate Administrator for Technology, Policy and Strategy; Heidi Hauf, Chair of GreenSkies and a leading figure in aerospace sustainability; and Hidetaka Aoki, Co-Founder of Space Port Japan.
Mark Rocket, President of Aerospace New Zealand, said the summit positions New Zealand as a global leader in aerospace innovation. “The New Zealand Aerospace Summit 2024 brings together some of the brightest minds in the world to discuss how aerospace can be used for good.
