A 20-year-old man killed in a head-on crash in Christchurch has been described as a “loveable crazy guy.”
Keegan Sullivan died when two vehicles collided on Sumner Road, near Lyttelton, at 11pm on Monday.
Two other people suffered moderate injuries in the crash.
Following the crash, Superintendent Lane Todd said one vehicle crossed the centre line and collided head-on with another vehicle travelling in the other direction.
A close friend, who didn’t want to be named, said “Keegan was the most loveable but craziest guys I had ever met.”
“He always walked around with a big smile on his face”
The friend said, “he would know how to put a smile on your face too and made a big impact on all of our lives.”
“Keegan had so much talent and so much to live for. He had the biggest passion for his cars and speedway. We all love and miss you Keegan.”
The friend said they received the news of Keegan’s death on the same night the crash happened from another friend.
A Givealittle page has been set up to help with funeral costs.
On the page it said “unfortunately as everyone knows, we lost Keegan, who was a beloved member of our family. We all love Keegan, so let’s rally together to support him and his memory and family.”
