Emergency Services are the scene of a serious crash on Christchurch’s Southern Motorway.
A police spokeswoman said the two-car crash happened on the eastbound lane towards the city, between Curletts Road on-ramp and Brougham Street just before 8AM.
One person has with serious injuries and one person has suffered moderate injuries.
A lane is blocked and traffic is backing up.
