Emergency services are at the scene of crash on Ferry Road.

The pedestrian, a 7 year old child, was hit by a car.

A police spokeswoman said emergency services received the call at 12.45PM.

An eyewitness said the child was being transported to hospital in a serious condition.

The road was still open, but police were patrolling traffic in both lane.
