Police are at the scene of a single-car crash in Riccarton.

A police spokesperson said they received a report of a vehicle flipping on Brockworth Place and the driver leaving the scene.

The incident was reported at 9.30PM.

Police located the driver nearby a short time later and are speaking to them.

Fire and Emergency crews and St John ambulance were called to the scene.
