A person has died following a crash in Darfield.

Emergency services were called to the crash involving a motorcycle and vehicle at 12.50PM on Deans Road.

Sadly, the person passed away at the scene.

The road remains closed while a scene examination is carried out and an investigation into the crash is underway a police spokesman said.
