A Christchurch resident is trying to find the owner of a large Goldfish, after her thieving cat brought it to her house, still alive.
Anna Lakeman says her flatmate was pulling out of the drive and noticed the fish lying on the ground of her Spreydon property.
Her cat, Luna, was nearby, looking guilty.
Anne grabbed the fish, rinsed it quickly and put it in her own fish tank with her smaller pet goldfish.

Anna says it’s not the first time her naughty moggy, Luna has captured goldfish.
She says the goldfish appears to be quite happy and is swimming well, but she’s keen to reunite him with his rightful owner.

Anna says Donna Moot from Turtle Rescue and Rehoming has loaned her a bigger tank for the fish and appears to be fit and heathly swimming around.
