A commercial premises on Main South Road in Christchurch has been targeted in an aggravated burglary early this morning.

Senior Sergeant Hamish Keer Keer said “At about 4.15am, offenders appear to have used a vehicle to enter a store, causing damage and taking a number of items.

“They have fled in another vehicle prior to Police arrival.”

Police are investigating and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
