Two people have been injured in a crash on Fitzgerald Avenue in central Christchurch this afternoon.
A police spokeswoman told chrislynchmedia.com at 2pm emergency services were called after a car struck several parked vehicles.
Several Fire and Emergency crews responded to the scene.
St John said it attended with two ambulances, an operations manager and a rapid response unit.
Two patients, both in moderate condition, were transported to Christchurch Hospital, a St John spokesperson said.
The road was blocked for a time but all lanes have since reopened, police said.
