Christchurch police investigating the theft of two mountain bikes worth a combined $4,000, are asking for the public’s help to identify two people they believe may assist with their enquiries.
Police said the burglary occurred on Bealey Avenue at about 6.15am on Sunday 1 February, when the two bikes were stolen.
A spokesperson said officers were working to identify and locate the two people pictured, as they may have information relevant to the investigation.
“We believe the two people pictured may be able to assist with our enquiries into this burglary,” the spokesperson said. “We would like to speak with them as soon as possible.”
Police also said they were keen to hear from anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage from around the time of the incident.
