Christchurch police are hunting the offenders of two robberies at business premises tonight.
A police spokeswoman told chrislynchmedia.com the first report came through at 6.50pm from a business on Jeffreys Road, closely followed by a report at around 7pm from a business on Prestons Road.
Chris Lynch Media understands the liquor store on Prestons Road was targeted and a weapon was used.
A stolen vehicle was also used.

“Police units responded immediately to both reports, however the alleged offenders had already fled the scene in each instance,” the police spokeswoman said.
“Thankfully, no one was injured during these incidents. Enquiries into the robberies and locating the alleged offenders are ongoing.
