The occupant of a vehicle which flipped upside down has escaped serious injuries.

A police spokeswoman said they received a call just before 11AM to a crash on Blenheim Road.

It involved two vehicles.

The road was blocked for a time while emergency services responded.

There are no reports of injuries according to the police spokeswoman.

A St John spokesperson said they responded with one ambulance.

“We assessed and treated two patients with minor injuries at the scene.”
