Three people have been hurt after a car rolled on a major Christchurch motorway.

Emergency services were called to State Highway 76 in Hillmorton – near the Curletts Road off-ramp just after 2pm.

Police say three people have minor injuries.

Eastbound traffic was down to one lane while the scene was being cleared.

There’s no word on how the crash happened.
