A man has been arrested following a street brawl in Woolston.

A police spokeswoman said police were called to a disorder incident on Hopkins Street at about 8:20pm last night.

It was reported that a group of people were fighting on the road.

It’s understood gang members were involved.

The police spokeswoman said the group had dispersed by the time police arrived and no injuries were reported.

A 23-year-old man was later arrested for breach of bail in relation to this.
