Police have responded to reports of someone allegedly presenting a firearm at a commercial address on Linwood Avenue this evening.

Locals said part of Gloucester Street was blocked off by armed police tonight.

The allegedly incident happened at 7.30PM.

A police spokesman said staff are making follow-up inquiries to determine the accuracy of the report and locate the alleged offender.

All roads are now open.
