One person has been treated for minor injuries following a crash on the Carlton Mill Corner in Merivale.

A police spokeswoman told Chris Lynch police were alerted to the crash involving two cars, a truck and a power pole.

Emergency services were called at 11:36.

It’s understood the truck lost control and smashed into park cars.

The road was reported to be blocked.

Fire and Emergency, police and St John Ambulance crews attended.

A St John Ambulance spokesman said one patient was assessed and treated at the scene.
