Two people have been seriously injured in a two-car crash near Lincoln.

Emergency services were called the scene on Springs Road at 9.30am.

Two people had to be cut free from each vehicle by Fire and Emergency staff.

A police spokesman said two people were taken to hospital in a serious condition.

The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
