Fire and Emergency services remain a the scene of a fire at Woodend Beach.
They were alerted to a fire along Woodend Beach Road at 15.42pm.

A Fire and Emergency services spokesperson said the fire is under control at this stage and no properties are under threat.
The fire is 50m x 50m in pine trees.
“Two helicopters, 7 tankers and 4 appliances are attendance, however some crews have been released from the scene, as crews now turn to a ‘mop up’ stage. “

The Fire and Emergency services spokesperson said this is where the fire is no longer active and crews will spend time turning over the area to ensure there are no hotspots.
