Christchurch police have been called to a Broomfield property this afternoon following reports of a ‘family harm matter.’
A resident said at least four police cars and an ambulance were stationed on Malabar Crescent.
A police spokeswoman said emergency services were called to the address just after 4pm.
One person was located nearby with a non-life-threatening injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
She said enquiries are ongoing to establish how the person was injured.
