Police are searching for the occupants who fled the scene of a serious crash in Christchurch.
A police spokesman told Chris Lynch Media, two people received injuries following a collision at the intersection of Buchanans Road and Carmen Road.
Police were alerted about 3.25pm, and responded with Fire and Emergency crews and ambulance staff.
One person received minor injuries, while another received serious injuries.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the police spokesman said.
Traffic management is in place and motorists should avoid the area.
The occupants of a third vehicle, which was involved, left the scene of the crash.
Enquiries are underway to locate them.
