The Ministry of Health has confirmed it is investigating one case in Christchurch.

A spokesman said this case is in managed isolation.

He said “at any one time, it is standard to have cases under investigation and as such, these aren’t included in any numbers update at this stage.”

The Ministry of Health spokesman said “we remain under alert level two as a country and people should continue to practice good hand hygiene, physical distancing and wear face coverings on public transport as we all do our bit to break the chain of transmission.”

 “Stay at home if you’re feeling unwell, and consult your General Practice or ring Healthline to book a test if you display COVID-19 like symptoms.”
