Two people have been injured in a two-vehicle crash in Yaldhurt.

A police spokesman told Chris Lynch Media emergency services responded to a crash at the intersection of Buchanans Road and Mary Carpenter Avenue at 7.20AM

The road was partially blocked for a time while emergency services attended.

A St John Ambulance spokesman said the organisation sent two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle.

Two were taken to Christchurch Hospital in a moderate condition.
