Three people have been injured in a serious crash in Rolleston this morning.

A police spokesman told chrislynchmedia.com police assisted emergency services with the two-vehicle crash.

“We were notified of the crash, at the intersection of Weedons Road and Selwyn Road, at around 8.09am.”

Three people were injured, and one was transported to hospital in a serious condition, the police spokesman said.

It’s understood a person was trapped in a vehicle following the crash and Fire and Emergency crews were called to the scene.

The accident site has been cleared and traffic is flowing freely, the police spokesman said.
