The occupants of a car that plunged 30 metres down a bank this evening have escaped serious injuries.
A police spokeswoman said they received a report at 9.45 pm that a car had gone over a bank on Summit Road, between Worsleys Road and Gebbies Pass Road.
She said the two occupants of the car fortunately only appear to have suffered minor injuries.
Fire and Emergency crews from Governors Bay are at the scene.
