North Canterbury Police have located 30-year-old Stefan Kupe.

The man was taken into custody at 10.40am.

Earlier North Canterbury Police said they were seeking the public’s help to locate Kupe, who had a warrant for his arrest.

Kupe was seen in the Birch Hill area, north of Rangiora this morning.
