The organisers of the popular Selwyn Sounds concert event have released a statement.
This year’s line up includes Stan Walker, Jordan Luck Band, The Chills, Zed, Hello Sailor.
The event is scheduled for the 6th of March at Lincoln Domain.
The organisers have released a statement saying they’re “currently working with our incredibly talented artists, all officials and authorities and taking advice from relevant agencies over the next few days, and will determine any action required for Selwyn Sounds.”
The team says they’re “working hard behind the scenes and are thanking ticket holders for their patience.”
Meanwhile, the concert this afternoon to mark the 10th anniversary of the Christchurch earthquake will go ahead but as an online event only. Bic Runga will be performing her specially written song, No One Walks This Night Alone, with special guest Hayley Westenra.
You can watch the concert on the livestream from 2pm
Mary Richardson, who leads Christchurch City Council’s COVID-19 Incident Management Team said “please don’t come to the Botanic Gardens for it – the area where the concert was going to be will be cordoned off and we won’t be allowing people in.”
