Hundreds of Christchurch families crowded the banks of the Avon River to greet Father Christmas.

The annual Christmas parade and Cola Cola Christmas in the Park may have been cancelled due to Covid19 uncertainties, but that didn’t stop Santa from making a special appearance – punting along the river waving at excited spectators.
