The owner of BP in Redcliffs wants to reward a good Samaritan who prevented an attempted break-in by a group of youths at his service station.

The incident occurred at 3 AM on Thursday when the youths tried to smash their way into the station but failed.

Their attempt was stopped thanks to a man charging his EV van in the back carpark.

The manager is now on a mission to find this hero and thank him for his intervention.
