Police investigating the disappearance of 21 year old Christchurch man Braydon Hepworth now believe he is no longer alive.
Christchurch Police executed a number of search warrants in Linwood and Edgeware as part of the investigation into his disappearance.
Detective Inspector Scott Anderson said enquiries so far had led investigators to believe Hepworth was no longer alive.
Police have previously carried out a scene examination at an England Street property, which was Hepworth’s last known address.
The last confirmed sighting of the 21 year old was at the Z service station in Linwood.

Detective Inspector Scott Anderson said police believed people in the community knew what had happened.
“We know there are people in the community that know what has happened to Braydon and request that they come forward with information.
“Braydon is a father and a son and Police are determined to get answers for Braydon’s family.”
Anderson said even seemingly minor information could prove important.
“Any information, no matter how small, could be a piece of the puzzle we need to locate Mr Hepworth.”
Police said they were unable to release details about what had been found during the latest search warrants.
