A person was injured in a single vehicle crash in Leeston this morning.
A St John spokesman said they responded to the crash at the intersection of Leeston Road and Brookside and Irwell Road at 8.41am.
A first response unit and an ambulance attended. One person was assessed at the scene and taken to Christchurch Hospital in a moderate condition.
Fire and Emergency crews also responded.
The road was blocked while emergency services were in attendance.
Contractors were contacted, and the cause of the crash is still being assessed, a police spokesperson said.
