A pedestrian has died following a crash near Tower Junction.

It happened at the intersection of Blenheim Road and Foster Street Addington.

A Police spokesperson said emergency services were notified of the crash involving a motorbike at 6:37pm.

Police are asking motorists to avoid the area.

The road remains blocked off.

The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
