Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash on SH6, Delaware Bay.

Police were called about 3.35pm.

Initial reports suggest there have been injuries.

It’s understood multiple cars are involved.  

A helicopter has been deployed.

The road will be closed with diversions in place. 

Motorists should avoid the area if possible.
