A 66 year old woman reported missing in Christchurch has been found deceased.

Police said Tracy was located by Search and Rescue teams at around 6pm this evening.

Authorities thanked those who assisted with the search, including Coastguard Sumner volunteers, Land Search and Rescue volunteers, and Fire and Emergency New Zealand staff.

They also acknowledged members of the public who responded to appeals for information and possible sightings.

Police said the woman’s death is not being treated as suspicious and will be referred to the Coroner.
