A 37-year-old man has been arrested in Mt Pleasant, after ramming his car into a police vehicle before fleeing the scene.

A police spokesman told chrislynchmedia.com at around 12:45pm police received reports of a vehicle driving in a dangerous manner in Bromley.

The vehicle was then observed heading south down Ferry Road before entering a carpark at a commercial premises.
The driver then rammed his vehicle into a police vehicle before driving south, the police spokesman said.

The vehicle was located on Major Hornbrook Road in Mt Pleasant and the driver was arrested at around 1:10pm.

Enquiries are ongoing and a range of charges are being considered, the police spokesman said.
