Only one week remains until Hello Hornby 2026 returns to Wycola Park, with organisers building excitement ahead of what they describe as the next big party in the park.

A popular highlight of the day will be the GHRA Baking Competition, running from 12pm to 3pm on Saturday 7 March, with $500 worth of prizes up for grabs from Barkers of Geraldine.

Home bakers are invited to enter cakes, slices, jams and preserves, with drop off for judging between 10.30am and 11.30am at the Hei Hei Community Hall kitchen in Wycola Park.

Organisers say the event is shaping up to be an amazing day filled with performances, live music, food stalls, giveaways and an indoor market, offering something for everyone.

As an added attraction, the Wigram Fire Station, if available, will attend with fire engines on display, giving children and families the chance to get up close and meet local firefighters.

With generous support from Barkers of Geraldine and a full programme of entertainment planned, organisers say the afternoon will be a fantastic family day out and a great way for the community to come together.
